Plan custom CNC machining in China with drawing review, turning and milling routes, materials and inspection requirements. Review actual requirements before agreeing a manufacturing scope.
Use component geometry, material and functional requirements to organize a process enquiry. Confirm the proposed scope through review of the actual drawing and documented capability information.
Capabilities are reviewed against the actual drawing, material, functional requirements and inspection expectations.
Start with the part function
Identify locating surfaces and mating features before choosing a process. A drawing should explain how the component works in its assembly and which relationships govern acceptance. This hub routes the enquiry to the appropriate process discussion; it does not assign a route to an unseen part.
CNC turning
Rotational features raise questions about diameters, shoulders, bores and reference transfer between setups. Include mating requirements and the surface specification. Explore CNC turning services for a focused planning checklist.
CNC milling
Faces, hole patterns and pockets require a clear reference system and access discussion. Identify the locating surfaces and how features must relate to them. Explore CNC milling services for fixture and setup questions.
Materials and starting forms
Specify the material designation, condition and traceability requirements. State the proposed starting form, such as bar, plate or an existing blank, where known. A blank drawing and a finished-part drawing answer different questions. These examples are enquiry inputs, not an inventory or approved material-range claim.
Drawing-specific manufacturing planning
Begin with the current revision and distinguish rough from finished surfaces. Discuss the order in which references should be established, stock needed for later work and how the component will be located after repositioning. Confirm each proposed operation and provider boundary for the actual enquiry.
Buyer engineering checklist
Send the drawing revision, material, starting form, quantity and application context. Mark critical datums, fits, finish requirements and any downstream operation that changes a functional surface. Clarify whether a model is supplemental or authoritative and state the inspection documentation expected.
Quality and inspection planning
Agree which characteristics need checking and how drawing references should be interpreted. Use the existing Quality page for documented inspection and process-control context. This page contains no achieved inspection result or general acceptance guarantee.
Application context
Explain assembly access, mating environment and locating function where these affect feature planning. These questions help define an enquiry without asserting a customer relationship, industry certification or completed project.
RFQ workflow
Send the drawing and requirements through the existing contact route. Resolve missing information before agreeing a manufacturing scope. A reviewed quotation depends on that scope and does not follow automatically from this page.
Capability scope and limits
Capabilities are reviewed against the actual drawing, material, functional requirements and inspection expectations.
Individual capability values are documented on the Quality page; they are not reproduced here.
Jinhua uses internal CNC turning and milling where the part geometry and reviewed process route are suitable.
Scope is drawing-specific; it is not a promise for every part, material or operation.
Three real manufacturing case stories connect drawing-specific challenges to process planning. These are case-specific examples, not general capability or achieved-tolerance promises.
Automotive steering input shaft
Manufacturing challenge
Connect a deep-bore requirement with datum-related internal and end features.
Process strategy
Separate deep-hole work, a bounded internal-finishing and left-milling setup, then separate other-end completion with a unified angular reference.
Why it matters
Shows how a shaft route separates bore requirements, setup relationships and inspection evidence.
Send the current drawing revision, material, quantity, functional datums and inspection expectations. Include starting-form and finishing requirements where known and identify information still open for review.
Does this page establish a tolerance or delivery commitment?
No. Requirements and the proposed route must be reviewed for the actual drawing. Capability scope depends on documented manufacturing and inspection information, and commercial commitments belong in the reviewed quotation.
