Precision ground outside diameters: Achievable capability: 0.005 mm total diameter tolerance; 0.003 mm roundness; 0.005 mm cylindricity; 0.005 mm straightness per 300 mm; Ra 0.2 μm; Reference scope and process: Outside diameter up to 50 mm and effective cylindrical grinding length up to 300 mm
Datum relationships and faces: Achievable capability: 0.010 mm total runout; 0.010 mm perpendicularity or face runout when defined by the drawing; Reference scope and process: Applies to reviewed relationships between ground journals, tooth datums, shoulders, and functional faces

Can you support forging and machining together?

For suitable shaft parts, forged blanks can be reviewed together with CNC machining, grinding, heat-treatment requirements, surface treatment and inspection. Provider responsibilities and required records are confirmed during quotation.
