Manufacturing Case Overview
Jinhua Machinery manufactures precision automotive components from customer-approved drawings. This case represents a custom automotive hub component produced to project-specific OEM requirements. It is presented as manufacturing evidence rather than as a standard hub, retail listing or generic hardware listing. Public case information confirms the component identity and the real manufactured-part image; material grade, heat treatment, numerical tolerances and the detailed operation sequence remain controlled project data and are not published as universal specifications.
Component Information
- Component
- Automotive Hub Component
- Positioning
- Custom drawing-based automotive precision component
- Material
- Project material grade is not published for this case; the governing material specification must be supplied or confirmed during drawing review.
- Heat treatment
- No case-specific heat-treatment requirement is published. Applicability is confirmed from the released drawing and material condition.
- Production basis
- Customer-approved drawing and project-specific engineering review
Engineering Requirements
The released drawing defines the functional features that must be controlled. Review normally covers bore and outside-diameter dimensions, faces and shoulders, datum relationships, assembly interfaces, edge conditions and surface requirements. Concentricity, total runout, perpendicularity or surface-finish requirements are included only when they are stated by the governing drawing. No numerical tolerance on the legacy page is carried forward without supporting production or inspection evidence.
Manufacturing Challenges
- maintaining dimensional consistency across the bore, outside diameter, faces and other functional interfaces;
- preserving the drawing-defined datum structure through the selected operation sequence;
- controlling surface and edge conditions that affect assembly or downstream handling;
- managing process variation so the approved interfaces remain repeatable; and
- aligning manufacturing and inspection methods with the drawing revision and agreed acceptance criteria.
Manufacturing Process
The case-specific route is released only after the customer drawing and available internal production data have been reviewed. Operation sequence, material condition, machining allowances, fixture datums, intermediate checks and any coordinated heat treatment are defined for the individual project. No specific operation or thermal route is presented as verified for this case until it is supported by the governing drawing and internal production records.
Quality Control
Inspection planning begins with the customer drawing, material specification, datum system and reporting requirements. Applicable controls may include material verification, dimensional inspection, datum and functional-interface checks, concentricity or runout inspection where specified, surface inspection and final drawing-compliance review. Instruments, sampling frequency, acceptance criteria and report format are confirmed for the individual OEM component program.
